The calendar maths is trickier than it looks: months have different lengths and leap years add a day roughly every four years, so you can't just divide days by 365. The calculator borrows days and months properly, the same way you would counting on a calendar, so someone born 31 January is correctly one month old on 28 February (or 29 February in a leap year).
Someone born 15 March 1995 is, as of 20 July 2026, exactly 31 years, 4 months, and 5 days old — 11,450 days lived — and was born on a Wednesday. Their next birthday is 238 days away, when they turn 32.

A 29 February birth date is handled with standard calendar borrowing: in non-leap years the elapsed-month count rolls over at 28 February, and the next-birthday countdown targets the next occurrence of the anniversary date on the calendar.
