QuickSum (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information when you visit quicksumapp.com.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Information you provide

When you use our Contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message. We use this solely to respond to your enquiry and do not add you to any mailing list without explicit consent.

1.2 Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we (and our advertising partners) automatically collect certain technical data when you visit QuickSum:

• Log data — IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamps.
• Cookies & similar technologies — see Section 3 and our Cookie Policy.
• Device data — screen resolution, device type (mobile/tablet/desktop).

1.3 Calculator inputs

All calculator inputs (loan amounts, weights, dates, etc.) are processed entirely within your browser. This data is never transmitted to our servers.

• To respond to contact form submissions.
• To serve and optimise advertising, if and when advertising is displayed on the site (via third-party advertising partners).
• To analyse site usage and improve QuickSum (via Google Analytics).
• To detect and prevent fraud or abuse.

We use essential cookies (to remember your theme preference and cookie consent), analytics cookies (Google Analytics), and — if advertising is enabled on the site — advertising cookies set by third-party advertising partners. 4. Advertising

QuickSum may display advertisements served by third-party advertising partners. Such partners may use cookies and device identifiers to show personalised ads based on your interests. You can opt out of personalised advertising industry-wide at aboutads.info or networkadvertising.org.

Any advertising partner’s use of cookies is governed by that partner’s own privacy policy, which we will link from this page when applicable.

5. Third-party services

• Frankfurter API / ER-API — used to fetch live currency exchange rates. No personal data is shared.
• Google Analytics — we use Analytics with IP anonymisation enabled.
• Advertising partners — if advertising is enabled, third-party ad networks subject to their own privacy policies.

6. Data retention

Contact form messages are retained for up to 12 months. Server logs are retained for up to 90 days. Analytics data is retained for 26 months in line with Google Analytics defaults.

7. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area or UK, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectify inaccurate data.
• Erase your data (“right to be forgotten”).
• Restrict processing of your data.
• Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
• Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
• Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

8. Your rights (CCPA — California residents)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to delete your personal information, to opt out of the sale of your personal information, and to non-discrimination for exercising your rights. QuickSum does not sell personal information. To submit a request, email privacy@quicksumapp.com.

9. Children’s privacy

QuickSum does not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EEA). If you believe a child has submitted personal data to us, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

10. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of QuickSum after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
